Harmohan Dhawan Promises to Make Chandigarh a World Class City

Chandigarh, April 4, 2009, www.theindiapost.com : BSP candidate from Chandigarh for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections Mr Harmohan Dhawan today addressed a coordination committee meeting of the Government and the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation (CMC) employees at Lions club, Sector 18 and announced that when elected he will get the retirement age extended upto 60 years and will help get Government and CMC employees get Government accommodation even if it is 13th type houses.




Later in the evening, the former Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Mr Dhawan addressed a public meeting at Shivalik Enclave, Garden Park in Manimajra and assured the people that their demands will be met and he will make Chandigarh a world class city.

Mr Dhawan further added that Congress and BJP had done nothing apart from playing the blame game. On the other hand, when he himself was the Minister for Civil Aviation, he brought four major projects to Chandigarh that changed the lives of the residents by bringing facilities to the city. The major achievement includes setting up of Medical college and Hospital in Chandigarh.
